2010 IEEE MTT-S - Anaheim, California
The annual IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium will be held in Anaheim, California, in May 2010. For the first time in its history the IMS opens its programme to new topics in the general area of Emerging Technologies, explicitly including high-power components and techniques for heating and industrial processing!
Refer to the Call for Papers http://www.ims2010.org/pdf/cfp_2010.pdf for technical details and a warm invitation from the TPC for submissions in the above area.

Broadening of the IMS programme has been strongly promoted by QWED researchers over the years and stimulated by the RAMPAnT Workshop co-organised by Dr. M. Celuch at IMS 2009. We are happy that the number of submissions on microwave power applications and techniques to the IMS 2010 was substantial enough to trigger the creation of a
new TPRC subcommittee SC-34 "High Power Microwave Processing". Dr.M. Celuch was nominated Chair of the new subcommittee. She and the whole QWED team wish to encourage our partners, customers, and friends to attend the two sessions created by the subcommittee.
