Many users have expressed interest in saving a particular set of UDO parameters, typed into the UDO header, into a text file. Sometimes we have more than 20 parameters and it is quite time-consuming to reproduce them in another header, after changes in the UDO script or in a new project. In version 6.5, the UDO header window is upgraded with Put and Get commands. These commands allow saving the current set of UDO parameters into a text file with *.udp extension or reading from such a file. The reading of the *.udp file is intelligent. It recognises the names of parameters and thus a change in order or number of parameters should not affect correct reading of those parameters which are present in both the new and the old header. See Section E 3.10 for more details.
